Abstract
It was considered that the rust preventing action of the sprayed metal film was greatly affected by the electrochemical behaviors of the film. The electrode potential, among them, was seemed to be the most important one. Here, it was measured carefully. The result was very interesting and from this, we could explain the mechanism of rust prevention, and point out the principle for the correct application of the metal spraying process.
