Abstract
The pieces (3mm∅×5mm) of aluminium alloys containing Ag, Be, Bi, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, In, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Si, Sn, Te, Ti, Tl, Zr were put respectively on the iron dish with KF-54.2% AlF flux and heated at 680°C for 2min in an electric furnace.
The area of aluminium alloy spreaded over the iron dish were measured by the planimeter.
As a result, Bi was the most effective element for spreading aluminium alloy over iron.
