Abstract
Within the appreciation of Kōdō linguistic expressions are thematically utilized that are considered traditionally poetic. The use of this language is understood as a meaningful method to improve a participant’s recognition and memory. The imaginative sphere of poetic expression is a world that exists in space-time, and provides the
possibility to communicate ideas regarding fragrance based on this culturally shared knowledge of language.
