Revised m-p Model for Concentration of Indoor Air Contaminants

Abstract

Introducing clearly defined two parameters, m and p, a revised m-p model was proposed. The revised m-p model provides exact value of the averaged concentration of indoor air contaminants with a simple calculation. The validity of the model was also confirmed by analytical calculation. Here, m is a mixing factor showing ventilation efficiency and p is a position factor showing the effect of contaminant generation site.
