Abstract
This paper proposes a method to create a high accurate energy-consumption model. A method of producing a highly accurate energy consumption model was examined. The resultant model calculates one home's monthly energy consumption of electric power, kerosene, and city gas. The models produced in this study are nonlinear-multiple-regression models. The comparison showed that our proposed model predicts more precisely than the ordinary linear-multiple-regression ones. Moreover, the nonlinear model clarified effective techniques for energy consumption research, such as those used for a data-mining tool and a simulation tool.
