Abstract
The study aims to discuss through experiments the drainage performance evaluation and design method of the header-type horizontal drainage pipe system for SI housing. The study focuses on sanitary sewage systems, the performance of which has not yet been analysed in depth, proposes a method to calculate at practical level the decrease of the average flow rate "qd" of each kind of sanitary fixture used within sanitary sewage systems, and examines the effectiveness of the calculation method in practical applications using real pipework. The study also goes on to examine and identify by experiments carrying performance using various kinds of waste materials and discuss the correlation between the experiment results and the decrease of the qd value.
