Abstract
Boiler manufacturer Buderus of Germany has been manufacturing various heating components since 1731. Boilers were exported to Japan in the 1920s and were installed in important buildings of that era, contributing to the development of building services technology in this country. The authors have acquired historically valuable information from the old catalogue of Buderus which was published in 1895 and Museum of heating in Germany. The authors report in this paper on German cast iron cooking stove in 1895.
