F-11 A study on a database of the components of housing ventilation system : Part1. A design of database and an analysis of the properties of components

Abstract

In this study, we report on a database of the components of housing ventilation system. The revised building standards act requires to set up ventilation equipments in residences, but design method and properties of housing ventilation system, such as duct system, is not sufficient. This database is based on an investigation for 5 ventilation system companies, and contains the properties such as pressure-flow amount curve, friction loss coefficient, etc. this database will help us to calculate the ventilation amount of houses by ventilation circuit calculation software, and to analyze or estimate the properties of ventilation systems comprehensively.
