Abstract
Since a desiccant air-cooling system (DCS) is driven by low-level waste heat, it is promising as a heat use of small cogeneration system (CGS). We conducted the operational experiments of DCS, which use micro gas turbine (MGT) exhaust gas for regeneration directly. This experiment revealed that DCS has a practically sufficient controllability with simple instrumentation system, and shows better performance with latent heat treatment in outside air processing than in return air processing.
