Abstract
In this paper, the thermal alleviation effect of the spot personal air-conditioning system was examined by subject experiment. Changes of the subjects' skin temperature, thermal sensation, and thermal comfort were recorded during the experiments. The results indicate that the personal air-conditioning with an outflow of 4m/s has a great effect on thermal alleviation, and it is little influence on improving its thermal alleviation effect by decreasing the temperature of outflow. Moreover, compared with the previous experimental results, it indicates to be efficient to improve the thermal alleviation effect of the personal air-conditioning by increasing the velocity of its outflow.
