H-18 Productivity Gains from Better Indoor Environmental Quality : Part 5 Requirements for Standard Method of Productivity Measurement

Abstract

Indoor environment affects productivity and health of building occupants. This paper discusses on a standard method of productivity assessment for investment judgment and effect certification of indoor environmental improvement in office workplace. First, recent studies are reviewed and requirements for standard method of productivity measurement are discussed. Next, a productivity measurement method based on the subjective assessment is explained. Some charts proposed by objective experiments are useful to increase the reliability of the measured results.
