Abstract
This study concerned with cooling load reduction performance of the cavity wall occurring natural ventilation by solar irradiation. There are some parameters concerned the performance. This study focused the direction, so scores of calculation were executed. The algorithm was finite difference method in unsteady state using personal computer with FOR-TRAN. The validation of program was verified, already. Consequently, the wall performance strongly depends on direction namely quantity of irradiation. Furthermore, it was clear that the performance depended on the airflow resistance of the path and heat resistance of the original wall.
