A-41 Water Quality Management in the Closed Cold and Hot Water Recirculating system in Buildings

Abstract

In the view of environmental preservation the prolongation of life span in the buildings facilities is desired. The life span of piping systems is not only dependent on design and construction, but also maintenance management. In the study it was discussed what water quality management should be for the closed water recirculating system in the stage of design, construction, maintenance, and degradation due to corrosion. This study was performed in the Sub-Committee of Construction and Maintenance Committee under the Society of Heating, Air-conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan.
