Abstract

This study shows the results on a validation of energy conservation effect for household using HEMS. This paper describes an outline of experiment and the characteristic of a participating household. The experiment was conducted for the detached houses of 100 households in Hiroshima. Using the signal of a human body detection sensor, the air-conditioner control by HEMS performs regulation of set point temperature, and a stop of an air-conditioner at the time of an absence, and acquires the energy conservation effect. Lighting is turned on by the signal of the detection sensor and an illuminometer. The amount of energy consumption of a participating household was small about 20% compared with the average value of the warm ground in previous reference.
