Abstract
Today, urban thermal environment - heat island - affects the design stage of an indoor environment. The aim of this research projects is to propose an evaluation index of local space cooling environment for the purpose of supporting efforts to realize the safety thermal environment for workers. In order to have a good prediction of the mean skin temperature of human body, it is necessary to consider an effect of wet clothing on heat balance of people. This paper will present a method to estimate the effect of wet clothing caused by sweat and to evaluate an actual working environment.
