F-46 Smoke movement characteristics in subway stations : Part 1- Experimental results

Abstract

In this paper, experimental results of smoke movement in subway stations are given. Subway stations is deeper and deeper in Japan. But that fire security is not confirmed experimentally. We confirm the problem of smoke control in subway stations and these experiments aim at gathering the basic data to find the best way of refuge and a fire action.
