Abstract
The building that becomes superannuated tends to be rebuilt in Japan now. However, effective use for materials and effective use from the viewpoint of global environmental concerns of increase of the heat-trapping gas by making of an existing stock long-lived become important problems. To assume the object of an existing stock to be an office building in this research, and to clarify the level and the definition of the defective stock that was rebuilt and had to be large-scale repaired, excellent and a defective stock were evaluated.
