Abstract
Two improved insulation effect houses were constructed in Nagano prefecture. One was constructed in Nagano City, The other was constructed in Miyota-machi. These houses were designed for decrease the heating load. The H model house used only space cooling energy, because it used solar heat as space heating. The Heating and cooling load was 16.95 MJ/m^2. The N model house used heating and cooling, load was 53.63 MJ/m^2. Field Measurement heat loss coefficient was calculated by the internal calorific value and the difference between outside temperature and room temperature.
