In this report, it is reported about an environmental element promoting deterioration by the copper ion of the EPDM packing. The result is shown below. 1) The concentration of copper ion was a low level, but the hardening deterioration advanced soon. 2) When there was Cl^-, the deterioration of the EPDM packing was promoted.
