Abstract
This study shows that there exist no common index for performance evaluation of cogeneration systems (CGS) and also there are few CGSs actually installed in hospitals whose performance is appropriately monitored and evaluated. In order to ameliorate this situation, build-up of benchmark of CGS performance, simple guideline and manual for measurement & evaluation and capacity building for CGS operators are necessary.
