Abstract
Energy efficiency improvements of renovated district heating and cooling (DHC) plants were evaluated by simulation. In this paper, expected total annual energy efficiency improvement is predicted by the simulation model for the renovated plant. Some parameters of this simulation model are modified in previous paper. Before annual simulation, accuracy of this model is examined based on the comparison between simulated and measured data for one month operation. From the result of annual energy simulation, 31 % of energy efficiency improvement is expected. Contribution of each replaced equipment to total efficiency is evaluated quantitatively. Total energy flows before and after renovation are compared.
