Abstract
This study carried out a multiple-regression analysis to investigate the relationship between properties of office buildings and the energy consumption per floor area. This study also performed simulations to estimate monthly energy consumption of 31 office buildings using available building property data. The result was compared with the simulation results each estimated with different datasets in which a building property or a combination of properties is neglected. By comparing the results with different datasets, this study quantified the extent to which the neglected building properties influence the energy consumption of office buildings.
