G-53 Study on the Verification of the Effect of the Greenstock Strategy in Chiyoda City which is Eco-Model City : (Part 1) : Basic Survey of Buildings in Chiyoda City

Abstract

In Japan, 13 cities in the Eco-Model-City have been specified. Among these, Chiyoda City is the only municipality that is specified in Tokyo. More than 14,000 buildings in the area are mostly small and medium sized buildings. This City is planning "Greenstock Strategy", which aims to achieve a low carbon society. The purpose of this project is based on energy consumption and the status of buildings equipment, renovate facilities to promote and improve operations to achieve reductions in CO2 emissions and energy saving. This paper reports the results of basic survey and building's wishes in the area.
