Abstract
A control system for saving energy consumption of electric air-conditioning packages was developed and the effectiveness of this system has been verified by applying this system to the actual operation of facilities. The algorithm of this system keeps the Coefficient of Performance of electric air-conditioning packages higher than that of normal operation by monitoring and controlling the operational mode of electric air-conditioning packages. The effect of saving energy consumption by this system is verified up to 30% in one facility, and up to 20% in the other facility both in the summer and winter season.
