Abstract
This paper describes outlines of field survey on the internal gains in office buildings. We measured electricity consumption associated to lighting and appliances in the workplace. We also counted the number of people, the rate of light turned on, rating power consumption of appliances, etc. The summary shows that heat gains during day time differs appreciably in buildings, but suggests lighting and the number of people may be over-estimated in commonly used energy simulation tool.
