Abstract
New railway Nakanoshima-line was inaugurated in Osaka Nakanoshima area, and four new under-ground located stations were opened in 2008's autumn. At three of these stations, thermal energy of river water is utilized for heat pump system with ice storage as unused energy for energy saving and heat island relaxation. In this paper outline of the ice storage system using thermal energy of river water and results of operation performance evaluation in 2009's summer are introduced.
