Abstract
Commercial hot water heat pumps, ECO-CUTE, have been introduced into the market because of the great role they play in energy conservation and prevention of global warming. However, there is very little or no actual survey data of the heat pump to establish performance, energy conservation and impact on the environment under various operating conditions such as ambient and water supply temperatures. In order to verify the effect the heat pump on energy conservation, measurements were performed on a heat pump installed in a company dormitory from winter to summer and an evaluation was carried out. This paper reports on the results of the survey.
