Abstract

Through the study of geological and geochemical characteristics of several quartz-vein type wolframite deposits in South China, it is proposed that the ore-forming fluids responsible for the deposits are transitional fluids of magma melt-hydrothermal solution. The fluid inclusion geochemical features, metallogenic experiments and relevant evidences also support this argument.
