Abstract
Author manufactured trially a portable recording wire-rope tester, It's wiring diagram is shown in the fig. 1, in which G is recording galvanometer having 0.2 sec, period and 10-8A current sensitivity. Using this tester, we tested the Tagawa shaft winding rope, the Yotsuyama Koepe winding rope and the Hashima shaft winding rope, Shaft winding arrangements are shown in the fig. 3, and the tested rope data are shown in the table I and the fig. 4. Recording data of the detected ropes are shown in the fig. 5.
