Abstract

After improving the quality of the printing plate in any printing methods, the ink and paste printability followed them and printing techniques have improved the performance. The quality of screen mask as printing plate of screen printing is determined by the screen mesh.
A stainless steel mesh has been used in the electronics field for over 50 years. Both of performance, higher mesh count and higher strength have improved the quality of the screen mask.
Weaving three-times stronger stainless steel wire densely, getting 40% open area rate mesh that Is optimal for fine line printing. The screen mask is named “no distortion screen mask”.
“No distortion Screen mask” that is stretch with higher tension have solved the previous screen printing problems such as “snap-off” and “distortion”.
From now on, number of high viscoelasticity paste that optimized for “no distortion screen mask” will be developed in the electronics field. And it is expected that any company can use the high quality screen printing techniques as standard process in the electronics field.
