Toward the robot that can communicate with humans

Abstract

The previous works in cognitive science and psychology have highlighted the importance of eye contact and synchronized arm movement in communication. By using a motion capture system, we are going to numerically analyze the body movement interaction. The body movements and psychological evaluation result will reveal the essential embodiment and behavior for human-robot communication.
