Abstract
In On-Off control systems it is known that very good control characteristics may be obtained by proper design of the feedback compensator based upon the characteristics of controlled object. In this paper authors show that the limit cycles can be made arbitrarily small or may vanish when the compensator is designed to make the loop transfer function of linear parts besides the relay element take equivalently the form of first order lag or first order integral. Experimental result performed on analogcomputor shows great possibilities of using the feedback compensated On-Off type controller in various fields.
