Abstract

With tbe recent diffusion of the Internet, Intranet, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), cellular phone etc, we have developed and marketed the IT application remote monitoring system that fused conventional control technology and latest IT (Information Technology). This paper reports that development policy and concept, artifices on the latest Information Technologies (IT) applying to industrial automation systems. Two solutions against the issues due to public communication infrastructure are also indicated.
