Abstract

Character agents were introduced to navigate users and to provoke the utterance in a community on the Internet. We had conducted the experiment to research the effectiveness of the character agents with respect to the affinity of a community, and found that the usefulness of the navigator would have relationship with the familiarity to the networked community.
