Abstract
This paper presents the basic structure of the hydraulic Spool-in-Cylinder and its application on the 3 D.O.F rotational parallel link mechanism. Hydraulic Spool-in-Cylinder is an actuator, which is consisted of a hydraulic cylinder, a spool, a mechanical feedback mechanism and a stepping motor. The 3 D.O.F rotational parallel link mechanism is consisted of three Spool-in-Cylinder. We can simply realize the control of the high output hydraulic Spool-in-Cylinder by adjusting the input of stepping motor. The experiments display that the locomotion of the 3 D.O.F rotational parallel link mechanism can mimic the human wrist locomotion.
