Applying mobile terminal to Distributed Control Systems

Abstract

To improve the work efficiency, recently, some industrial plants have started using mobile terminals to their operation. In this document, we introduce a concept of mobile terminal system and a system configuration example of component technology in currently status of practical stage with considering “What information is necessary for the field?” and “What function is necessary for safely and exactly operating?”
