Abstract

Developing a monitoring system in bathrooms is important to prevent the accidents. This paper proposes a new monitoring system by immersing a pipe with an acoustic sensor inside into the water. We can thus obtain not only direct sound information from the people, but also the water level information. For the water level, stationary waves inside the pipe are used.
