The effect of irradiating power and temperature of sending air in the microwave cocoon drying was investigated. The product of drying term and irradiating power was roughly at a certain numerical value in the same temperature of sending air. Therefore, the necessary time of cocoon drying coud be presumed by the irradiating power. The sending air at 60°C coused the drying speed to fall on about 60% or 70% at 100°C, and had a strong influence at the low irradiating power.
