Abstract
Silk has a close relationship with the ancient Chinese character. In other words, the formations of related Chinese characters were greatly influenced by the appearance and improvements of silk. On the other hand, new Chinese characters were also created and developed for the growth of silk technology and its culture. As a result, science, technology, politics and art of the society were also affected by its characters while these interactions with silk.
