Abstract
We evaluated the clinical manifestations, management, and prognostic characteristics of extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD). Sixty-nine patients with extramammary Paget's disease had been treated in our division between January 2000 and December 2011. The mean age at diagnosis was 72.4 years (range 49-97 years), and the male-to-female ratio was 2.5 : 1. Sixty-three of the sixty-nine patients had lesions in the genital area, four in the perianal area and two in the axillary area. Surgical resection was performed in sixty cases, radiation therapy was administered in five cases and chemotherapy was administered in nine cases. The 5-year survival rate was 100% in stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and 0% in stage Ⅳ. [Skin Cancer (Japan) 2013 ; 28 : 63-67]
