Abstract

A 74-year-old female underwent primary resection and lymph node dissection 4 years before visiting our clinic. She had numerous lymph node metastases including para-aortic lymph nodes, and it was determined that radical surgery was not indicated, and systemic therapy was initiated. First-line therapy with docetaxel monotherapy and FP as the second-line therapy were discontinued owing to adverse events and disease progression, respectively. Modified weekly PET therapy was initiated as the third-line treatment and tumor shrinkage was observed after three cycles. Although the dosing interval was lengthened to allow blood cell recovery, this therapy has remained effective and safe for more than five years.[Skin Cancer (Japan) 2024 ; 39 : 61-67]
