Abstract
As members of the expert committee of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology for the proposition of guidelines for cancer chemotherapy, we collected and critically evaluated relevant literatures of chemotherapy of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma using standardized criteria. After summing up all the available data, we described recommendation statements on several issues concerning chemotherapy of squamous cell carcinoma and grade of each recommendation was evaluated. Critical response from readers to this paper is welcomed, which helps us to refine these guidelines. [Skin Cancer (Japan) 2001; 16 : 170-173]
