Abstract
Giant Cell Fibroblastoma is a rare mesenchymal tumor. It has been considered as a juvenile variant of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
We reported a case of congenital giant cell fibroblastoma occuring in the buttocks. The patient was a 2-year-old boy. Histologically, the tumor was characterized by a mixed proliferation of fibroblastic cells and multinucleated giant cells and sinusoid like spaces. Immunohistochemical studies were positive for CD34 and Vimentin. [Skin Cancer (Japan) 2001; 16: 328-331]
