Abstract
A 63-year-old woman presented with a 5-month history of multiple nodules on the forehead, the parietal and occipital areas of the scalp, and the posterior aspects of the auricles. Histological examination disclosed metastatic lesions of adenocarcinoma. A CT scan showed multiple nodules in her left lung and other organs. A bronchoscopic biopsy specimen revealed lung adenocarcinoma. The patient was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which successfully reduced the size of the metastatic skin nodules as well as the primary lung lesion. [Skin Cancer (Japan)2008; 23: 98-101]
