Abstract
A case of 66-year-old man with porokeratosis punctata palmaris et plantaris (PPPP) aplastic anemia, and acanthosis nigricans was reported. He was hospitalized with a diagnosis of aplastic anemia in May, 1992. During hospitalization, he noticed asymptomatic keratotic plugs and pits of 1 mm in size on the palms and soles. Histological findings showed so-called “cornoid lamella” with little or no granular layers. Additionally, there were dilated capillaries associated with a moderately dense lymphocytic infiltration in the dermis. These lesions were diagnosed as PPPP. Topical emollient containing 10% urea was noneffective on these eruptions.
