Abstract
A case of nodular cutaneous lupus mucinosis (NCLM) is reported. A 16-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) presented to our clinic with multiple nodules on her back. A lesional biopsy revealed dermal mucin deposits, mainly hyaluronic acid. The fact that eruptions of NCLM vary according to SLE activity has been emphasized by some authors. In our case, the eruptions occured during exacerbation of systemic lupus erythematosus and disappeared after remission by steroid treatment.
