Abstract
A method to create 2D Iink models, which is very convenient to simulate human movements, has been developed. The distinctive features were, 1. visco-elastic body was used to connect each segment. 2. visco-elastic response was assumed when segments contact to a floor, 3. floor friction force was considered. With these features, mathematical equations were simplified. Now wecould treat many segments, and we could simulate many movement even when several segments were contacting to the floor. With the method, we simulated some phenomena ; a material point is falling and rebounding on a floor, one segment rigid body is sliding on a slope, four-link rigid body is standing, sitting up, and doing high jump and long jump.
