We tried to develop a walking guide system that consists of a head mounted omni-vision sensor and a three-dimensional sound processor for the visually impaired. The system detects a position of a colored panel and presents three-dimensional sound source as if the panel sounds. Through the experiments using hanging colored panel, it is clear that the system is able to guide the subjects to arbitrary position in the room.
