Abstract
The authors have been carrying out a research to find the background and cause of falsification at Tepco's Nuclear Power Plant. The research aims at grasping the whole figure of the problem and finding the fundamental cause through in-depth interview survey. This paper presents a method to grasp the whole figure of the problem which is employed at the beginning of the research to identify its direction. Structural modeling analysis is carried out with newspaper articles on the falsification issues. The method provides a figure which presents the structure of the problem. It is confirmed that the presented method helps to identify the direction of the research and to extract information in the interview survey.
