A Study about Impact of Social Capital on Behavior Change in the Spread of COVID-19

Abstract

This study found that social capital encourages people's voluntary cooperation and influences their refraining from going out. It reduced work relationships and neighborhoods and kept families together. Social capital may have facilitated the prevention of the spread of infection in Tokyo metropolitan areas.
